Shipping Policy:
Yes, we charge for shipping. We need to so that we do
not have to artificially inflate your product prices and bury those costs somewhere
in that price. You pay what we pay UPS…no hidden charges.
UPS Rates:
Shipping rates will vary depending on your order weight and delivery destination.
The EASIEST way to see your shipping cost is to enter the delivery destination
zip code into the shopping cart, where it will automatically be calculated and
appear on the screen. This way you will be able to view your shipping charge
before you checkout.
Your order will NOT be processed until you've approved the total cost - including
shipping - and hit the 'CONFIRM ORDER' button.
Shipping Charges: USPS
If your delivery destination is in Alaska, Hawaii, or an APO/FPO, your
USPS shipping charge will NOT appear on your order confirmation screen when
you complete your order and press the 'CONFIRM ORDER' button. Whenever we receive
an order for USPS delivery, we will call or send an e-mail message to inform
you of the correct USPS shipping charge for your approval BEFORE we process
your order. We will NOT process your order until you have approved this USPS
charge.
Back Orders / Out of Stock:
There is nothing worse than being out of stock or being told that your
product has been “back-ordered”. We try very hard to not let this
happen, but the sad fact is sometimes it will and for that we are sorry.
If for some reason one of the products you would like to buy is back
ordered or out of stock, you can be assured we will be in touch with you immediately.
At that time we will try and determine if there is a suitable replacement product
that meets your needs. If not, we promise to ship it as soon as it arrives in
the warehouse at no additional cost to you!
RETURN POLICY
We will accept returns on any item, for any reason as long as the following
conditions are met:
- Returns must be made within 30 days of purchase and must
be accompanied by original packaging material and accessories. We will not
accept returns after 30 days of purchase.
- Returned items must be returned clean and free of animal
residue, or we may refuse to issue credit.
- Customer is responsible for all shipping charges on returned
items unless we shipped a damaged or incorrect item.
- In order to return an item, you must first obtain a Return
Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA). To do so, please email returns@shrimpfeeder.com
with the reason for the return. You will then be provided with an RMA number
which must be marked clearly on the outside of the shipping carton. Items
returned without an RMA will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Canceling An Order:
Once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled, however
it can be returned. Please see our return policy for instructions on how to return
an item or order.
Address Corrections:
When placing your order, please verify that your shipping
address is complete and correct. An incorrect shipping address will delay your
package and will cause the shipping carrier to charge us a $5 address correction
fee on each box shipped to that incorrect address. In order to recover the cost
of the correction, we will charge your credit card the amount of the address
correction.
International Orders:
We will be happy to ship an order to any international destination;
however, the customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping as well as
all duties and taxes charged at the time of importation. Duties and taxes not
paid when you receive your order will be billed back to you on the credit card
your original order was charged to. By Federal Law, we are required to follow
all export laws with respect to declaration and customs documentation.
We are committed to protecting your privacy online. We do
not sell or rent your personal information to others. We use customer information
we collect only for the purposes of filling orders, contacting purchasers to
inform them of their order status.
Price Matching:
If you happen to see the same item(s) at a lower cost, we
will gladly match the competitor’s price for the same item(s) plus their
cost for shipping. Sale prices and special offers are not included in the price
match. Price matching is valid from other internet merchants only. We will not
match prices from catalogs, pet stores and non-internet businesses. When requesting
a price match, please give us the name of the vendor so we can verify pricing
and their shipping costs by visiting their website
