Lifeline Natural Health Enrichment HUFA provides all the essential marine w 3-HUFA type fatty acids. It is especially high in DHA and EPA which marine shrimp cannot biosynthesize at a rate fast enough to meet their metabolic needs. The product also boosts vitamin C, other essential vitamins, and special pigments. Naturally replenishes key nutrients lost in the storage and processing of pelletized feeds.
Key HUFA Levels:
Sum w 3 fatty acids > 33% (330 mg/g dry wt. DHA > 26%, EPA > 5%, ARA > 1.4%.
Selected Vitamin Levels:
Vitamin C 4500 mg/Kg, vitamin A 250 IU/Kg, vitamin E 260 mg/Kg.
Use:
Apply Natural Health Enrichment HUFA once daily by using the following table and using the total daily weight of feed given to the shrimp.
Example:
Your shrimp are 20 days old and you use 2% for optimal performance and are feeding four times per day.

Each feeding is 3 kgs, giving a total of 12 kgs. Therefore, the quantity calculated by the table above is 240 ccs of Natural Health Enrichment HUFA, provided in one of the four feedings.
How to Apply:
Mix Natural Health Enrichment HUFA with enough water to disperse it evenly in the feed, but not too much water as to make it runny and not absorb into the feed. Wait 15 to 30 minutes then feed mixture to the shrimp. Since Natural Health Enrichment HUFA is a natural product it can be used with other vitamins or supplements without harm.
To Enrich Artemia or Rotifers:
Thoroughly clean and disinfect all enrichment equipment including tanks, aeration equipment, blender or mixing bottle, and enrichment water. Shake the bottle of Natural Health Enrichment HUFA prior to use. Harvest and rinse nauplii with disinfected seawater and place in enrichment tank. Artemia nauplii densities should range from 100 to 300 individuals/ml, and Rotifer densities should range from 200 to 500 individuals/ml.
At the start of the enrichment period measure out 300mg of Natural Health Enrichment HUFA per liter of water (for rotifers 125 mg/l) in the enrichment tank. Mix with water in a blender or mixing bottle. Add mix to tank. Add another 300 mg or Natural Health Enrichment HUFA per liter of water after 12 hours for longer enrichment periods for maximum uptake. Oxygen levels should be maintained at 4 mg/l or more, if liquid oxygen is not available use no more than 200 individuals/ml. Harvest with air on. Rinse nauplii and feed to larvae.

This product should be stored in a cool dry place for up to one year. Do not freeze. Refrigerate after opening.
